Farmer Gene Farms is dedicated to growing and providing the best possible produce, shelf-stable farm products and plants using the most environmentally conscious and healthful methods. These methods will include an integrated pest management (IPM) program that combines conventional processes with organic practices and methods where feasible. They ensure the safest, highest quality, tastiest products moved from farm-to-fork quicker than any grocery store. We guarantee it.
Located in southeastern Union County in the Carolina Piedmont, our farm has been in our family since the mid 1700's. Our farm has adapted over the years from early farming practices, to power equipment in the 50's as a row crop/livestock farm to produce and greenhouse production today. There are currently three generations living and working on the farm, Farmer Gene (me), my father and my two sons who wish to continue on the farm.
We believe in education for the public and care for the land. Since we have been on this land for generations, we will always strive to care for it for generations to come. We will always be available to help with advice and counsel, and always deliver consistent value to our customers, at our farm, at local farmers’ markets and online. Whether continuing our relationship in a CSA or with regular at will consumers, we act in a financially responsible manner for all our stakeholders to help them improve their quality of life.
